Mega heroes Ram Charan Tej and Allu Arjun decided that it is time to look out for new avenues by collaborating with popular Tamil directors and increasing their market to our neighbouring just like how the heroes like Rajnikanth, Chiyaan Vikram, Suriya have been doing over the years.
Instead of dubbing our Telugu movies, they decided it is better to act in Tamil and Telugu bilinguals with the directors who are known in both markets. Even Mahesh Babu had been planning this for sometime until he started movie with AR Murugadoss.
Following Superstar and Baahubali example, the actors thought it is better to increase the market and be a part of universal subjects that find acceptance Pan India rather than just in Telugu heartland. While Allu Arjun decided to go with Linguswamy who made Run, Awaara, Pandem Kodi, Ram Charan Tej wanted to act in a Mani Ratnam movie.
Now, both the heroes have decided to not go through the projects. Allu Arjun was supposed to start shooting for his bilingual by April, 2017 but due to financial issues, producer Gnanavel Raja has now backed out of the project as per reliable sources. Bunny is also busy in wrapping up his Duvvada Jagannadam for release on 23rd June. He will then start shooting for Vakkantam Vamsi directorial.
He decided to go with his earlier plan to start a movie in direction of Vikram Kumar, who is busy shooting Akhil2. Next year, both will collaborate and Geeta Arts will produce the movie, the sources claim. On other Ram Charan Tej is maintaining silence on his Mani Ratnam movie and many are suggesting that the movie has been shelved as director’s Cheliya flopped at the box office in both the languages.
