Senior journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao proved AP government’s tall claim that farmers in capital region benefited a lot, a bluff.
Sharing his personnel experience in a TV show, Kommineni said that the Chief Minister is repeatedly saying that the capital city has changed the fate of the farmers in region, but it is a bluff, a blatant lie as far as common people are concerned, if the reports appeared in the press are true, he added.
TDP leaders like Minister Narayana who reportedly purchased 3000 acres, with prior information about capital city, were the real benefactors and who really earned crores of rupees, he said quoting news reports. The Chief Minister has laid yet another foundation stone on Monday for the development of startup area.
In this background, Kommineni hosted a discussion on a private TV Channel. And in the course of discussion he explained his personnel experience. He said he have ancestral lands in Amaravati region. Prior to capital dissented on Amaravati, the cost of land was Rs. 3 crores per acre but now it is just Rs.1 Core or less, he said and pointed that the locals have their own apprehensions over all transactions going on in Amaravati in the name of Capital.
Stating that the government is selling day dreams about Capital city of international standards, he said that people are septic about government as it has spent Rs.1000 crores on temporary Assembly buildings.
