Venkaiah Naidu Takes Oath As 13th Vice President of India!!
Veteran BJP chief M Venkaiah Naidu, 68, is ready to take oath as 13th vice president of India today. Venkaiah Naidu won the Vice Presidential Elections held recently defeating former West Bengal Governor and Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Gopalkrishna Gandhi, the competition candidate. The swearing-in rite will start at 10 am nowadays at Durbar hall of Rashtrapati Bhawan. The oath will be administered by using President of India Ramnath Kovind and high Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi attends the ceremony along with all Union Ministers. M Venkaiah Naidu paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat. Later, he also paid tributes to Jan Sangh chief Deendayal Upadhyaya, Dr BR Ambedkar and Sardar Vallabhai.
With 516 votes, Mr Naidu received 67.nine consistent with cent vote percentage. he is a two-time Union minister and 4-time Rajya Sabha member. before he become NDA’s Vice Presidential candidate he held the portfolios of Parliamentary Affairs, statistics and Broadcasting and urban development. On triumphing the vice-presidential ballot Mr Naidu said, “India stands for… integrated national development Impacting All Indians, equally properly. this is the task for India.”
